Psychotherapy

Understanding why you feel anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed is useful—but insight alone rarely leads to change. People often assume that if they can name the problem, they should be able to solve it. Yet, patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior don’t change just because we recognize them.

That’s why psychotherapy isn’t simply about talking through problems—it’s about learning how to shift the mechanisms that keep those problems in place. I use CBT, DBT, and ACT—not because they’re trendy acronyms, but because decades of research show that they work. These approaches focus on retraining cognitive habits, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening psychological flexibility—the ability to adapt rather than react.

The goal isn’t to achieve some idealized version of yourself. It’s to develop real, applicable skills so you’re not at the mercy of the same automatic thoughts and responses. Because the ability to think critically about your emotions—and act accordingly—isn’t just therapeutic. It’s essential.

2

Clinical Supervision

Good therapy isn’t just about listening well or having strong intuition—it’s about thinking critically, applying evidence-based methods, and knowing when to challenge both the client and yourself.

In supervision, we don’t just discuss cases—we analyze them. We examine why a particular intervention worked (or didn’t), how to navigate ethical dilemmas and cognitive biases, and what the latest research tells us about effective treatment. I work with clinicians to sharpen their clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and ability to adapt therapy to complex cases—because the best therapists aren’t the ones who claim to “know” the answers; they’re the ones who know how to ask the right questions.

If you’re looking for rubber-stamp validation, this isn’t it. If you want to refine your skills, challenge your assumptions, and practice therapy that is actually grounded in science—let’s work.

Coaching

Psychology has given us decades of research on motivation, decision-making, and behavior change. Coaching—when done well—draws from that science, not just from generic advice about "reaching your potential."

Some people don’t need therapy, but they do need a structured way to clarify goals, break out of unhelpful patterns, and make informed decisions. Coaching is most effective for those facing career transitions, leadership challenges, or professional stagnation—not because they lack insight, but because insight alone isn’t enough to create change.

If you tend to overthink everything, coaching helps separate what actually matters from what’s just noise. If you feel stuck, we work on what’s holding you there and what will actually move you forward.

It’s not about finding your "best self." It’s about figuring out what’s getting in your way and doing something about it.
